In my defense I just want to say that I have had all good intentions of updating the blog. I still have vacation photos to post for Théo. Then I have to actually announce the new member of our household. For anyone who actually follows this I will have the historical details coming up.
Tasks -
Update Vacation photos
Update household changes
In between all this we took a trip to Québec and then I started to install (upgrade) Win 7 and that is a story in and of itself!
All good intentions, believe me!

Mes Ami! we are back from our 2 week vacation to Long Beach Island, NJ.Oui,Oui,Oui!
What a fantastic time we had and my pictures are c'est magnifique...! First I have to show you my new car!My parents had a hard time with the dealership but finally picked up the car Friday night and we left on vacation on Sunday!! Can you believe it?
Anyway, mon Papa had to take photos of the car in daylight on samedi and then pack us up on dimanche... what a weekend and we hadn't even started the vacation. Here are some more photos of the car.
The car looks huge doesn't it? Well once my pawrents packed it ha, ha, ha, there was not much room for MOI!
Here's a look at the whole car, not the color they wanted, nor did it have the remote keyless entry but still a larger car which meant I would be very comfortable.
Then they started packing, and my friends, the car suddenly wasn't as big as they thought! Still, it had to be more comfortable than traveling in two Mini's!
This is only the start kids! See the blue container and the bicycle LeSportSac? Those are MINE! :o) all mine... everything else in the car was for Mom & Dad, although I must say that they did bring my food, a couple of toys and other "extras" for me that are not included in this photo. So I guess it's not all bad... LOL
Now, look at this car fully packed! Can you believe it? No room for a surf board or water skis because the car had no roof rack, but hey, we wouldn't have used those items anyway!
Last but not least is a photo of yours truly with barely enough room to sit let alone breathe! I sat up most of the way down because I wanted to look out the front window, and boy did I see alot, especially the speed at which we were traveling.... shhhhh ok on to Part Deux
À tout à l'heure,
Theo

Bonjour Mes Ami,
Let's talk cars. As I mentioned in a previous post, my new parents had to rent an SUV in order to pick me up! Why is that? Let me show you:
Mom's car my friends - how am I supposed to fit in this?
and this is my Dad's Mini Clubman - do you see me in there? do you? all hunched over like the hunchback of Notre Dame......
Here's another pic of me in Mom's car when I went to work with her one day:
Anyway, while we get around just fine we are planning on a vacation and Mom & Dad have purchased, are you ready?, yes folks an SUV, mais oui!!! They are picking it up tonight just in time for the big V!
yahooooo
Laissez les bon temps rouler,
Theo

Bonjour Mes Ami,
It is now my time to introduce myself, je m'appelle Theo. I am from the Montreal area and have now been with my family for 4 months et 2 days. I am 8 years old.
As my brother Kodiak mentioned here, I was a big surprise to him, all 160 lbs! Kodiak and I had two great months together, he at one end of the kitchen and me at the other....
Because of my calm demeanor I was able to help him to stay calm for the time he had with us. In fact, you might even say we got to be friends...mais oui?
It was a bit difficult for moi at first... I missed my family in Canada, especially when it came to manger and at snacktime. So for a while I did not want to eat. Because of this, I didn't have to poop or pee very much and you can be sure I didn't want to go for a walk... I just lay around making sure everyone came to me to pay homage!
Mais je digress..... my #2 family met my girlfriend Marie-France in upper NY. France drove me to a site there where we met up...... this is a picture of my girl Marie-France and my new Dad..
My new Dad, Mom, and my girl Marie-France. Merci France for your excellent driving overseas!
We had a little lunch and I even got some ice cream - I think they were trying to get on my good side, either way I was happy....
..... soon we were in the "rental" SUV for the ride home. We stopped a few times but it was really for the new parents. They didn't know that I was really called "Tank"... you know what I'm saying?......
I settled in nicely and just enjoyed the ride.
After a few hours we pulled up to this Shangri-La --- it was Spring after all! Out we hopped and immediately Kodiak was barking. Mom & Dad took us for a walk before entering the abode which gave us some time as a pack... i LOVED it!
More soon mes amis,
Laissez les bon temps rouler, (the Cajun way)
